"Understand and Live the Gospel of Christ" September VT Message

the idea is taken from this QUOTE: "Sisters, now more than ever, we need women to STEP UP and be STRONG..."

The title picture reads: "We need STRONG women... who can HARVEST AND PRESERVE the power of the gospel!

Then on the back of the message, this quote:

Since fall is the time to HARVEST AND PRESERVE here is a recipe for preserves:

Inside have the full message, Nature Valley granola bar, and the recipe.

Thank you PP&G!

I love these kinds of quizes! Take the quiz and tell me your style!

Sick of wondering what's for dinner?

Have you heard of supercook? It is a fab site where you put in everything you have in your pantry and it spits out meals you can make with what you have. Sadly, the only recipe I have the ingredients for is macaroni and cheese, alas, I need to go to the grocery store! but otherwise I think this site is so handy for those days when you don't know what to make for dinner and don't want to or have time to go to the store...genius!

So True...

Check out these from jilliewillie.com I gotta get me some!

Mop Slippers - Pom Pom

A basket full of Mop Slippers make the perfect touch to greet your friends at the front door. A great way to save your floors on a rainy day and warm up the feet of your visitors. They are also a must for wet feet when getting out of the shower...(they will keep your feet and your floor dry) The mop slipper bottom is attached with Velcro for easy cleaning. Pull off detachable mop bottom to wash, or wash the entire slipper. Beautiful aqua and green color combination. Choose "Pompom" or "Welcome" embellishment. The slippers come in a aqua mesh bag.

Sherwin Williams "VERDANT"

This is the paint color I want!

Green is the color of life. It symbolizes abundance in growth, health, environment and even renewal. However, green can also symbolize jealousy. Green, like blue, also has a calming effect.

Most of the time green reflects balance, stability, and harmony.

If green is your favorite color, you are most likely a relaxed person who is a lover of nature and in tune with living healthy. Lovers of the color green are often spiritual healers and can also be very prosperous, as well as constantly full of new ideas.

However, green lovers should also watch out for their jealous side.

To Autumn
John Keats

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells.

Can you feel it? Autumn is in the air! Okay, not really, it is freakin' 90 degrees! BUT, when it does come, won't this be so cute? I want it! Love Betsey Johnson!
Also, I am painting my piano room this peet moss green color. I can almost smell it! And I want to put this chair in my peet moss room with my black baby grand...beautiful! I just need $300 now to pay for it...

So I went to Swiss Days in Midway for the first time EVER, and it was....great! My fabulous fun finds include: All wrapped up! Pink polka dot and green damask wrapping paper. Above and Beyond Home Decor, Bumbles design and lots more. So way fun! We walked around for 7 hours the first day with a baby carrier and Brock was such a trooper! Then just a little more the next day. It was packed and crazy! But now I am feeling so crafty!
